Ahh this super long weekend was such a marvellous little treat! It started on my birthday; Thursday the 9th. George took an annual leave day off work and we celebrated with beautiful presents, balloons, streamers, champagne & sparklers in the morning before going out for breakfast together to Hunter Gatherer in North Sydney. It was such a perfect way to start the day.
We then took Winston out to the dog beach because I am totally obsessed with that place – it’s so much fun! After a little while there, we came home, had some birthday cake & more champagne and went out for mulled wine at Small Bar and a casual Indian together to Raavi’s Cumin in Crows Nest. It was actually one of my all time favourite birthdays!! It’s totally all about the little things!! 🙂 🙂 We celebrated again the following night at A Tavola in Darlinghurst with the family. I’d been dying to go for ages & it was totally worth the wait; it was incredible!
The rest of the weekend, we spent all our time with Eddy (#threemusketeers) who finished his exams on the Friday morning. We caught up with Grandma over coffee, adventured around on mini road trips up to the central coast, had a late lunch at The Newport, watched the rugby at home, caught up with friends, played Madden & just generally soaked up every minute of having the luxury of five straight days off together 🙂
