We visited the V&A, the Natural History Museum, the National Portrait Gallery and the National Gallery (just before it closed). All of them are incredible, including the buildings they are in - I couldn't stop taking photos. And it's the best winter date. George and I loved strolling around chatting while we took in all the awesomeness!

The NHM in particular is gorgeous! I took hundreds for photos last time I visited it :) I still have to stop by the Victoria & Albert museum. Maybe next time :)

ReplyDeleteohh i loveee the british museum! there are so many amazing galleries and museums in london....so incredible!
DeleteLOVE London galleries and museums. Plymouth museum just isn't quite the same! My mum was in London at the weekend, and one of the things I was most jealous of about her visit was the fact she went to the National Gallery. It's the perfect way to spend a grey day! x
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect day date to me! How awesome that they're all free. Some admission tickets here are too expensive!
ReplyDeleteWas that glass sculpture made by Chihuli? I love his stuff.
See I would totally go gallery hopping all of the time if I lived in London.
