sneakers for brunch.

Untitled
We took these sneaky (no pun intended) shots in approximately 17 seconds on the most miserable Sunday afternoon ever! It was after brunch and George (aka my part-time photographer) was just not up for standing in the rain (and neither was I for that matter) snapping away, whilst holding all my layers. I striped them off because at some point in the winter, you just need to take off that same coat you wear everyday to display what's underneath.

And on this particular day, I was wearing an all blue ensemble (to match the rain) paired with my Nike sneakers. After wearing sneakers nearly every single day during my Netball days, I never thought that I would willingly wear them out to brunch, in Notting Hill of all places, but I quite liked it. Sometimes you just can't beat being comfortable! Especially on a lazy, miserable, rainy Sunday.

  3. I actually have those tennis shoes, but only wear them to the gym. Glad to see an option to dress them up a little for a lazy, rainy brunch.

  6. Comfy shoes definitely win in my book. Today, I wore really casual ankle boots with a smart dress for work because I JUST COULDN'T BE BOTHERED to wear heels. No one seemed to care, so I'm doing it again tomorrow!!! x

  7. Has anyone told you you look like Jennifer Lawrence? (That's a good thing, she's gorgeous). Love the mix of casual with the sneaks and business with the blazer!
