country air.

On Saturday, we had plans to go on a crazy cool hike/country walk around Surrey. Instead, it really just turned into a stroll to a cute pub to have a big hearty and warming lunch before heading back home to watch the Rugby. The clouds were so dark and ominous that at midday, it really felt like it was 5pm. So you can just imagine what it looked like at 3pm. We weren't really up for a country walk in the dark (the thought freaks me and my scardy cat/crazy imagination out so much) so it definitely was the best option to head home to get into our pj's and enjoy a couple mugs of hot chocolate.

Even if our adventure got cut short, it was just so good to be out in the country air. I'm a city girl through and through, but I definitely need a country fix every once in a while. Especially when the English countryside is involved!

I'm such a city girl too, although I've lived in a not-so-city sort of town for years! Definitely is nice to spend time outdoors, especially when the scenery looks that good. ;)

I live in the country, and I NEED country air. When I was living in a city, I had to go home every 7 weeks or so to get my fix, else I started to feel very weird! Beautiful pictures as always! :) x
