Two Thousand and Twelve! I didn't really know what this year meant to me until I started accumulating the highlights in photo form. I didn't realise just how great it was. That is what I love about this whole documenting through this little blog of mine. You get to look back and see all the little details that made the year, instead of just focusing on the big things.
I did go through some minor health issues, and did have to spend four months away from George thanks to visa issues, but I also got to explore some of my favourite cities and places like; the Cotswolds, Oxford, the Welsh countryside, went back to Paris, and road tripped all throughout France and Spain with my family. It was the trip of a lifetime! I also experienced the incredible atmosphere at the London Olympics before flying back home to Sydney for an extended holiday.
We visited the Hunter Valley, Mudgee, Hyams Beach and Bowral and had many awesome beach days and Sydney days of course. My dad and I cooked up Saturday lunches nearly every weekend and woke up nice and early to get to the Sydney Fish Markets. It was so nice to be surrounded by my family and my Russy for such an unexpectedly long time! But it was just as nice to fly back to London once my visa had finally been approved and to be reunited with the love of my life. George and I have spent the last month in Christmassy London and have been loving every minute of it.
