france.

A few scenes of our perfect time spent in France. Some of my favourite moments of my life. I hate that the holiday is already over, but I am so happy I have all these incredible memories to keep.

Memories like; dancing in the middle of Paris, watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle every night, strolling through the gorgeous city, our hilarious road trips between each place, Eddy and George playing scissor, paper, rock every single time we got out of the car to get the relaxing middle seat of the car, driving through unbelievably beautiful countryside and vineyards...memories I will never forget.

bike riding through saint emilion vineyards.

After leaving the Dordogne, we stopped in the stunning Saint Emilion before getting to Bordeaux. As soon as we got there, we rented bikes and started cycling off and around the vineyards. Just weaving in between the vines, with the crazy looming clouds in the sky, and my hair blowing in the French air, made me squeal with an unbelievable amount of excitement.

Hands down, one of my favourite days of my life.

rocamadour, domme & la-roque-gageac.

On our first full day in the Dordogne, after the road trip from Burgundy, we went on an adventure around three of the most gorgeous little villages; Rocamadour, Domme and La-Roque-Gageac.

They are all breathtakingly beautiful in their own right. I caught myself wide-eyed multiple times. Rocamadour is built a top a vertical cliff, with a charming little village at the bottom. Domme is perched high above the Dordogne river with the most incredible views of the surrounding countryside and the magical river. La-Roque-Gageac sits right on the river with golden coloured houses lining the water.

(Meet Giuseppe; the most adorable little bird we found in La-Roque-Gageac)

The hardest thing about the day was deciding when to leave the first place and head onto the next. Tough.

Being surrounded by the beautiful Dordogne river and the company of my family made me happier than I can put into words. It felt like a dream.

missing them already.

How does time go so impossibly fast? This was by far, the quickest month of my life. It feels like it was only yesterday when I got up at 4am to go catch the train to London to meet Eddy. How is the best trip of a lifetime already over?

My family have just touched back down in Sydney, and I am here back in Cardiff after the hardest goodbye of my life. I just miss them too much. These three + Georgie make my life!

I have said it before but, when will teleportation be invented?

I have got so many more memories to share, so stay tuned..

weekend in barcelona.

Throughout the whole holiday I haven't even let my mind start to think about getting to Barcelona, as it's the last stop on our trip of a life time.

But as soon as we arrived, I remembered just how much I love this city. We spent the weekend strolling through the Barri Gotic stopping in nearly every square for a glass of wine. Finally being able to wear bare legs and eat gelato.

Thank you Barcelona! It kind of distracted me from the fact that I have to say goodbye to my family tomorrow.

eddy & george.

The banter is constant. And so is the competitiveness, the shouting, the laughing and the rumbling. They are just the most hilarious little team.

George left yesterday, to get back to London to run the marathon on Sunday (Good luck Georgie!) so Eddy is without his partner in crime. It doesn't feel right.

But it just makes me so incredibly happy that they are best friends. Beyond happy. I love them so much.
