february through instagram.

My favourite moments and memories from the second month of 2012. How did you spend your extra day of the year?

I cannot believe we are going into March tomorrow. I couldn't be more excited, since there are so many amazing things happening this month. Starting with my brother arriving here in 22 days.

Luckily I'm well and truly obsessed with Instagram now (compared to last month) so I can't wait to share this upcoming month with you.

Happy last day of February!

sunday best.

My Sunday "best" really means just grabbing the items which I feel the most comfortable in and am happy to wear out all day strolling around in. It also means just not bothering with my hair in any sort of way (obviously) but, instead, just chucking it up in the easiest style imaginable.

However...somehow, these happen to be my favourite kind of outfits. I just feel so me in them.

(Zara trench and jumper, H&M jeans, ASOS loafers)

weekend in london.

Scenes from another truly wonderful weekend spent in London.

I got off work early Saturday afternoon so I ended up getting the 3.30pm (rather than the 7.30pm) train and got to have the whole night in the city, having dinner with George and a friend.

Then Sunday was a dreamy day in the city. The weather was incredibly spring-like which lead me to actually skip, instead of walk, around the streets of Belgravia.

The day included a much needed peak around Harrod's, a sensational pub lunch at The Pantechnicon, strolls down Sloane street and King's road, nearly falling asleep in Kensington Garden's, and just getting lost in one of my favourite cities ever.

Utter perfection.

the ultimate friday happiness.

(lunches and dinners filled with fresh seafood)

(pretty flower boxes)

(fresh berries...or any fruit for that matter)

(snail mail, especially when it's from my Grandma)

(long lazy summer days spent at the beach)

(afternoon baking)

(exploring cute country towns)

(pancakes for breakfast)

(the early days of autumn)

(coffee and chocolate brownies)

(the feeling of the beginning of a much anticipated trip)

(late afternoon cocktails)

(the feeling of utter freedom when jumping into the ocean)

(breakfast in bed...is there anything better?)

(being in the mountains...that probably beats breakfast in bed actually)

I actually can't believe it's already Friday. It's just snuck up on me so quickly. So quick, that I didn't even get a chance to take my camera out once this week.

Therefore, I thought it would be nice to share some of the ultimate little things which always seem to make me so incredibly happy. I could have gone on for forever with this post, since there are countless things which put a smile on my face.

I really like that none of them are materialistic things.

style inspiration: street style from new york and london.

So many pictures, but there were just too many to choose from and I found it hard to cull. So this is a big selection of some of my favourite street style looks from New York and London fashion weeks. Incredible amounts of inspiration. I love it all. The colours, the textures, the prints. And I love seeing Garance Dore popping up through a car window haha.

Now just waiting to see the street style to come from Milan and Paris. But at the same time...I'm kind of not, since my wishlist has already increased beyond any sort of realisticness.
