We had trouble remembering the last time I had been to Hyams Beach. Weird. Because when I was growing up, we went down nearly every single school holidays. We figured out that it must have been around 7 years ago since I have been back!
So it was the perfect opportunity, that we could go and stay with our family friends at their holiday house for the weekend. We slowly road tripped down along the south coast, through farmland and the salty air, arriving on Friday afternoon. The next few days were spent in pure paradise. At the beach where the sand couldn't be any whiter and the water couldn't be any more turquoise. Or in front of the fire on the cold nights, sipping red wine.
It was definitely some kind of weekend perfection.

alright enough sun and sand. when are you coming back???
