Spontaneous midweek dinners like the one we had tonight, make.my.life! It was one of those perfect early-summer evenings where you just can't pass up a cheeky beer. We then cooked our marinated Portuguese-style chicken on our bonfire and ate alfresco out on the deck, and even cracked open a couple of bottles of wine from our recent Hunter Valley and Mudgee trips (that we were suppose to "cellar"). I love my family!
I'd be happy if every night were like this. But then I suppose, the spontaneity aspect wouldn't exist. And that's half the fun of them.

ReplyDeleteI have to wonder (and forgive me, as I haven't been a follower for too long), with all of the absolute adoration for Sydney life you have, why do you not move back? I know this is probably a loaded question. But I still wonder.
