Strawberry picking has to be one of the best things about summer in the UK. I had never been before going on Saturday, but after our day at Primrose Vale Farm, I am dying to go back! 
We got the train from Cardiff to Gloucester and then a bus to the farm. Luckily, we had no transport dramas, unlike last week. And the sun decided to shine after three days of miserable weather. It couldn't have been more perfect. 
After sampling a few and picking a bunch, we sat down in the farm grounds for some tea and brownies. Britain in the summer is so beautiful. I love getting out to experience it, when it decides to be sunny, of course. 
I'm now obsessed with picking our own fruit and am already excited to pick our own apples and pumpkins in autumn.
How wonderful! I will have to go there next strawberry season! Love that beautiful white dress! :)

i have never been strawberry picking where they are grown on stilts like that -- normally i'm crawling around on my hands and knees!! looks so much fun :) xx

Where we loved a couple of years ago there was a place close to us and you could pick strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, gooseberries--I wish I lived there now :)
