weekend in london.

London stole my heart this weekend. I explored solo, since George had classes, but I loved every second of it. I visited Blackheath, had a little stalk of London Fashion Week, watched the Changing of the Guard and spent a rainy afternoon in the National Gallery. Had a beautiful lunch at La Fromagerie, tasty treats from Inn The Park and late afternoon wines with George at Rocket. I strolled around South Kensington and Mayfair, and saw the most stunning sunset. And then just before meeting George at Paddington station yesterday afternoon to get our train back to Cardiff, I went to visit The Roof Gardens. The perfect end to an insanely amazing weekend in the big smoke.

I can hardly wait to get back there next weekend.

Sounds fantastic and I love the pictures. I'll be in London again March 31 - April 3, any chance you'll be around there then as well? :)

Sometimes I really think all it takes to be happy is the one you love, wine and cheese, and a bit of adventure in the sunshine. Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes by Keats: "Give me books, fruit, French wine and fine weather and a little music out of doors, played by someone I do not know."

London is such a fabulous city - I could easily live there for months upon months without getting (that) tired of the weather. Such a perfect place to get lost in!

Love the picture of the pies and cupcakes, they look divine!

Oh, I love London too! It stole my heart 2 1/2 years ago when I did study abroad there. I am going to Scotland this summer for school and cannot wait to go back. I have been bookmarking your posts to see where all you travel. I am hoping to visit some places that you have because they all look so cute! The previous sentences kind of make me sound like a stalker lol. Totally not, just a travel junkie.
