painswick, england.

I love that places like this still exist in England. And that it's right on my door step. It makes for the ultimate weekend adventures.

It was just so beautiful strolling through the narrow and windy roads, with snow on the side walks and that incredible winter smell of burning wood in the air. Seriously magical.

This weekend will be completely the opposite. We will be in London for the weekend. And I am just as excited! Seems like that little saying is true..."you can take the girl out of the city, but you can't take the city out of the girl".

So pretty Soph - just exudes that west country charm. I like that you are as comfortable in the city as you are the country. I could have so done with you on the ski slopes!! I can't tell you how much! I need a personal trainer for skiing. Seriously! I am useless. I figure it's a height thing. When you commented that you skied every day for months on end - I can only imagine how good you must be at it! Lucky girl. Lou x

First time commenter here! I love your blog and after seeing this post booked a bed and breakfast in Painswick. I'll be in London for Easter week and decided this was too beautiful to pass up. Thank you for your amazing photos-they have inspired me to visit this place!
