Ever since my first bite of the heavenly French cheese board I had at
La Fromagerie on Sunday afternoon, I haven't been able to
not have cheese with nearly every meal. So, it was only natural that when I had some free time to bake this afternoon, it would involve cheese.
I baked cheddar, thyme and rosemary drop biscuits using
this recipe (I just substituted chives for fresh thyme and rosemary) and I absolutely love how they turned out. They were the perfect afternoon snack.

I love such things with cheese. Everything with cheese, actually. :)
At this moment my favourites are turnovers with cottage cheese and herbs. ;)
These look incredible Soph! There's nothing better than cheese, bread, and herbs mixed together :)

I have never made anything savoury like this probably because I have a sweet tooth or two--but maybe I will give them a go after all I had savoury pancakes yeasterday and they were good.

You're so good with these posts Soph - I am sure george is pleased he ended up with a good cook. I think that you might have just got over that post-Sydney mood you were in, where this country was really not enchanting you ATALL! I am pleased you seem more settled now; strangely I want you like it here :-) Lou x
