a little apartment tour.

Since it has already been 2 and a half weeks since George and I moved into our Cardiff apartment, I thought it was time to show you a little tour...

To be completely honest, this is a post for my mum as I know she is dying to see what our place looks like. But I thought this would be an awesome opportunity to post a little "before" of our place before we pimp it out with all the ideas I have swimming around in my head. I can't wait to post an "after" post when our place looks a little more lived in. Decorating is all about patience though isn't it...so it might not be for a while. I'll be posting a lot about our place along the way though and would love to get as much design advice as possible now you guys know what our place looks like.

fruits and bare feet.

A vibrant and fruity Stella McCartney inspired dress, a plain white tee, a pair of sunnies and bare feet...is all you need while sailing. And that is definitely alright with me...

weekend in cardiff: part II.

Here's the second round of photos from the weekend spent in beautiful Wales. Find part I here

weekend in cardiff: part I.

Today; the first day where I feel like I am back from an extended summer break. A summer break beginning with George graduation, travelling to Sydney to spend time with my family, going apartment hunting in Wales, sailing around Sicily for two weeks with George's family, moving to Cardiff and unpacking everything, then getting settled in before Jem came to visit for a week, who just left this morning.

So our last weekend of our extended summer break was filled with adventures. So much so, that I have to split the post up into two parts. Between going down to the seaside, walking through our favourite park, baking this cake, going for breakfast at an adorable little cafe, late afternoons spent watching movie after movie while it pit pattered rain outside, we just had the best time.

The weekend went way too quickly, as all weekends seem to but..it now feels like life in Wales can officially begin...if you know what I mean.

Stay tuned for Part II.

diving into the deep blue sea.

My favourite time of day while we were on holiday? Around mid-afternoon time when we would find an incredibly beautiful spot around the island, anchor the boat and jump in to cool off from a hard day of sunbaking. This was when I would turn into a little kid again and run around the boat, jump in, run back up onto the boat and do it over and over and over again.

I think I could have been a mermaid in my previous life.

double white on white.

First outfit I'm wearing; Topshop top, H&M skirt, ASOS heels and Gucci sunnies. Second outfit I'm wearing; H&M shorts and top, Sportgirl shoes and Gucci sunnies.

Dressing head-to-toe white has to be the definition of summer style don't you reckon? If I wasn't so retarded and didn't spill things over myself every time I happen to be wearing white, I would probably wear these sorts of outfits everyday. Especially the maxi as it is another skirt which I could twirl around in forever.

Really cannot wait until we get our internet installed on Friday...I'm in the library once again and their opening times just don't work for me haha. I have to run...3 minutes until it closes...

P.s I'm guest posting today over at Michaela's beautiful blog. Check it out here.
