(afternoons spent reading my book in this charming little square)
Weekend #2 in Bristol and I now feel like a local. As soon as I arrived late Saturday night, George and I went out for a romantic meal to a gorgeous Italian restaurant, called Prego. That was the perfect way to start the weekend.
On Sunday; I climbed hills, I ducked into adorable cafe's and delis, I didn't stop taking photos, I breathed in the fresh autumn air, I seemed to think every colourful house was just as adorable as the one before it, I window shopped along Park St and through Cabot Circus, but most of all, I had the best time exploring the beautiful city all by myself. It was perfect. I didn't want to leave.
But it has taken me a while to get back into reality since all day today, I have had the worst case of wanderlust. I haven't been able to stop dreaming about countless places I need to visit. Already looking forward to next weekend and seeing where it will take me.

Such beautiful pictures as always!! I'm loving this cool and crisp weather!
OHHHH BIG hit of nostalgia for my University town. I recall walking those hills and trekking up Park Street at the end of lectures. How lovely that you love it Soph. But I would expect nothing less from you! Your images make me want to go back very much. Next time try the Lido in Clifton - the food is just something else and the pool in the middle of things, with its Victorian charm, is just lovely. I blogged about it this time last year. Anyhoo...big xxx Lou x
