This weekend was spent half in Sydney and half at my grandparents house in Bowral, to celebrate a little Christmas in July with family. I always love going to visit Bowral. It brings back the most comforting memories from when I was little, running around the outrageously stunning garden. I find it magical.
Yesterday wasn't any less magical. We got our own little taste of a wintery Christmas (since Christmas is always a boiling hot summers day in Australia) with the bare trees, the smell of fire wood burning, and the overall coziness of everything that is winter. I find it hard to put into writing - the nostalgic feelings of recent.
I also got to see my little cousins, who I haven't seen since real Christmas. They are the most gorgeous brother/sister team. Max (or Justin Bieber?) is such a beautiful older brother to his little sister, Jasmine. It is so adorable to see. I absolutely love spending time with them. They are such special moments.
Today's adventure was to the Northern Beaches where we stumbled upon some Home & Away (an Australian soap) filming before eating lunch at such a stunning spot - a Sydney must! But that's a story for another day (tomorrow). I never want all these Sydney adventures to end. But it means that I hardly get any computer time, apart from writing a daily post throughout the week. So therefore means I am so behind on reading of all your amazing blogs. Bare with me...I still have 10 adventure filled days here in beautiful Sydney.

Being away from home makes you realize how wonderful every little detail is. I would give anything to be home right now! I hope you enjoy your last days there!
Lots of people are in love with Bowral, I can't remember if I've ever been though... Will have to get down that way some time. I'm surprised it looks as warm as it does for this time of year! You must have lucked out!
