airport style inspiration

This past weekend was spent packing and organising everything before flying back home to Sydney on Saturday. I'm not much of an organiser but when it comes to getting ready for a big trip or holiday I love it. I especially love putting together travel outfits. Since the flight from London to Sydney is nearly a whole day long, it means trying to be organised enough to figure out two outfits to wear. So I'm looking to these stylish celebrities, who pull off the comfy chic look perfectly, for inspiration. Loving all the boots, scarfs and loose baggy tops.

I am getting so incredibly excited. This week is going to be insanely wonderful. Starting tomorrow - I am baking some vanilla cookies and cream cupcakes for my 22nd birthday on Thursday where I'll have a nice breakfast in bed before getting the train down to London for an afternoon in the gorgeous city and then ending up with a birthday dinner at my favourite pub in Blackheath. Then two days later we will be travelling to Heathrow to get our plane at around midday. We then arrive in Sydney at 7.20pm on Sunday 12th June. I just can't wait to have a big group hug with my family, George and Em (Eddy's girlfriend). It's going to the best day/night ever.

I'll try record another vlog this afternoon in between all the organising and packing but if I can't then I'll definitely get one up in the first few days when I'm in Sydney.

Hope everyone is having a perfect day. The sun has even decided to come out. Perfect!

You must be so excited! I find packing pretty stressful with fitting the minimum amount of clothes that all go together and will give me the most amount of outfit diversity without me looking boring everyday - ahh it just goes for my nerves!
Any tips?!

Haha I also love planning flight outfits - I think it comes with the turf since I'm also used to 24 hour flights going back and forth from South Africa and California - you feel like such a zombie when you finally land!

Love this post!

I think it's so important to look chic while traveling, something that not too many Americans understand, sadly.

I also love it because it's almost your birthday! And you get to go home! Yay! Happy early birthday, love. : )

Sarah

I'm doing the opposite of this journey in a month. How do you cope with the flight? I'm stopping in Singapore on the way back as I can not face the entire flight at once. And you know why wouldn't I want to stop in Singapore.

I started following the blog and am loving it as it's pretty much the opposite to what I'm doing now. I'm a Brit living in Australia for a year atm :)

Have a great flight :) I love airport inspiration, although despite my best efforts, I can never quite seem to look as chic as the celebrities at the end of a 24 hour flight, hehe.
