perfect scones with strawberry jam and cream

Scones have always been a personal favourite of mine. Especially since they come with whipped cream and strawberry jam. I could eat them every day. So since it is the Royal Wedding in less than 24 hours, I decided to whip some up to get in the British spirit. I used this recipe which I highly recommend. It's so easy to follow and they come out, well...perfect, as they are called in the recipe. Very fitting name for them. The only issue is the fact that you have to be prepared to get a little messy with flour flying around everywhere and with your kitchen ending up looking like this. They are definitely worth it though. The perfect afternoon tea.

Can you be my favourite Australian person on the planet?? I love that you are getting into the spirit of the royal wedding. It is SUCH a big deal for Britain - honestly I am charmed that you are baking scones in recognition of our royals. Quite touched actually. Thank goodness George found you and brought you here...
