Trust the English weather to turn all gloomy come the weekend. However, it was a good excuse to stay inside and not leave the house with the only exception of going to see Limitless yesterday afternoon (which I loved) and going to the gym a few times together. I am getting into the swing of the gym again with summer coming up. However, I still find the motivation so hard and would just so rather stay at home and watch tv haha. But then after the gym I feel so so good. Why do I never remember that feeling before I go? Does it happen to you guys too?
Other than going to the movies and the gym, George and I did absolutely nothing which was perfect as next weekend we will be running around London (yay we are going down for the weekend) so this was an amazingly chilled end to the week.
I also sort of broke the shopping diet, already, I know...but do £2 ballerina flats from Primark count? I don't reckon haha. I needed them to compliment the rolled up jeans for a Friday afternoon walk (yes, Friday afternoon's are included in my weekends).

ReplyDeleteSometimes, doing nothing makes for the best weekends! And I SO agree with you on the gym. I dread it like death and have to MAKE myself work out, but I know that I will ALWAYS feel better afterwards and will never regret working out. But working out sucks, there just isn't a better way to put it! Lovely pictures btw!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection of photos, I love the idea of a weekend diary!

The shoes are darling, Sophie. I would have probably broken down, and bought them as well. I'm guessing that is about $5?!
ReplyDeleteNice.
P.S. -Glad to see I'm not the only one who uses a an eye mask to block out light. :) Love mine.
Love that photo on the balcony -- too cute! And I also find it sooo hard to work up motivation to work out, but I feel so much better after!
