First of all, major apologies for my minor disappearance from blogging. Hopefully after looking at these photos you'll realise and understand why my attention has been swayed recently.
Swayed to....afternoon lounging on the deck with a glass of wine in hand and flipping through magazines, long days at the beach with sand so so so hot you have to walk on your towel (harder than it sounds), going christmas shopping and then having a well deserved break with cocktails at the Hilton, a lot of fresh seafood eaten at nearly every meal, fun cloud patterns, catching Lola (my cat) mid yawn, Russell (my dog) looking up at me with the cutest of puppy dog eyes, wearing my new Zimmermann bikini pretty much every day, and generally...spending the best days with my family and having such an amazing christmas time back here at home.
It is the perfect way to end such a perfect year.

Although, would be more perfect if George was here with me and so was my little brother, Eddy, who is ski instructor in Whistler. Luckily skype was invented.

I hope all of you had the best christmas time spent with family and have a fabulous NYE.

the london weekend in motion

A weekend of wintery, cozy fun.

continuously trying to master the art of delayed gratification

One downside of blogging is being continuously exposed to the beautiful world of fashion, coming with it, the need or want of having to have everything right now
And right now, I am inspired by everything summery. Think laid-back, throw it on, easy kind of style.
Sometimes I just wish I had an unlimited credit card haha. Now that would be the opposite of delayed gratification, but it would be gratification all the same no matter how much debt I would cause myself.
I suppose it's lucky I don't have one!

a london weekend in a nutshell...

Photobucket
London 11th-13th Dec.
Scenes from another amazing weekend spent in London before flying back to Sydney for 6 weeks of summer.
Highlights include; George and I in fits of laughter imagining how much chaos we could cause if we had Harry Potter's invisibility cloak, George and I in fits of laughter again after falling over multiple times while ice skating at Somerset House, going out for never-wanting-to-end lunches, but a quick Pret lunch on monday to get as much Christmas shopping done on oxford street that is humanly possible, Christmas spirit at Winter Wonderland in Hype Park, nutella crepes and german sausages at Winter Wonderland, the haunted house at Winter Wonderland, Winter Wonderland in general, strolling through the streets of Belgravia lusting over the window displays of Chloe, Chanel and Christian Louboutin, fresh guacamole and delicious cocktails at wahaca, bright blue sky days, red buses and regent st buildings, drinks out on a Covent Garden terrace bar while watching street performers, spending half the afternoon in Liberty sneaking a photo of the cool Acne corner, and just generally chilling out and enjoying every second with my best friend (george) before departing from each other (again) for 6 weeks.
However, here I am back at home having pizza and wine for dinner while watching such an exciting Ashes test (cricket -  for all the non aussies or pommies) with my awesome family.
Looking forward to a Sydney weekend.

home sweet home

So here I am back at home after a long flight. This photo was taken at Singapore airport while waiting for the second half of the flight home. It's currently 4.20am here in Sydney, Australia. Love jetlag. Always good to be home though...I'll be back tomorrow with photos of another perfect London weekend.
