the little things that are making me happy

1/ Our happy little pumpkin with his big cheesy grin. Perfect Halloween decoration.
2/ Receiving the nicest of emails from one of my oldest and greatest friends. Over the last couple of years we have gradually drifted apart. So receiving such a lovely email from her made me so incredibly happy.
3/ Visiting my favourite deli in Nottingham, Delilah Fine Foods, for dinner ingredients and a delicious afternoon snack.
4/ Spending rainy Sundays cuddling in bed and watching greys anatomy. Seriously don't know anything better.
5/ The fact that I start my new full-time job on Tuesday. This makes me super happy as it means I'm one step closer to finding out what I want to be/where I want to go/what I want to do with my life.

even though the weekend is nearly over.
hope everyone is having a lovely sunday :)

CHANEL SS11

The last part of Chanel S/S11. The most amazing and moving show. You also have to watch Garance's video (if you haven't already).
These were a few of my favourite looks from the show.
My dream is to attend a Chanel show...

THE AVIATOR JACKET

THE AVIATOR JACKET: As we all know, its the "must-have" of the season and I have been looking high and low for this bad-boy. I really had my eye set on the amazing H&M version but unfortunately it was all sold out. Now that I've kinda had time to think about it, i'm not so sure that I am still as keen on buying one after seeing literally every single person wearing a different take on the trend.
So instead of getting my own one, here I am wearing George's Zara Man one (yes, he did get one before me) and now im thinking i might just rock the oversized version....for the time being....in other words, until i win the lottery and splurge on the original.

p.s this is how crazy my hair gets when untamed.

(here I am in the happiest state I can be in, spending my day with George, in my favourite place in the whole of London. Seriously, George got sick of me going "I am so happy" over and over)

The perfect London weekend. Saturday night spent celebrating a friends 22nd and Sunday spent back in my home town (where I lived all of last year) of Blackheath.
I really can't put into words just how much I loved being back there, visiting the farmers market, having my favourite halloumi and chorizo sandwich at the little deli, walking past all the bustling cafes, strolling over the heath towards Greenwich....the list could go on.
I just hope the photos do it justice.

ABSOLUTELY LOVING: Leopard Print

(I know these arent actually leopard print but they are the most perfect shoes)
I have been a massive fan of leopard print for some time now, even posted about it here, but I have never really actively thought about going out to buy it in any forms other than subtle additions to outfits.
However, now it is a completely different story. I am completely obsessed.
Next thing you know, ill be wearing head-to-toe leopard print ensembles like this:

Now it is currently Sunday night and I am incredibly tired from a wonderful weekend (pictures to come) so off to my comfy bed.
Hope everyone had the best weekend :)

helllooo from the comfiest bed in the universe.

CURRENTLY: Loving that I finally have my own laptop to use. You see, I forgot my Australia to UK power adapter. That is the reason of my absence, as it meant I also couldn't take any photos or use my laptop (I couldn't even straighten my hair - now thats a disaster.)
But here I am in Nottingham, in the comfiest bed in the universe. I am loving being back here.
Friday tomorrow and continuing with the job hunt.
Happy Thursday :-)

The most amazing editorial from Harper's Bazaar Australia November 2010.
It makes me want to live in a hut on the beach and wear Chanel bikinis all day.
I think it is beautiful.

a taste of spain + my last night in sydney for a little while

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh I cannot believe it, but tomorrow I am flying to London.
It couldn't be more bittersweet. I'm flying over to meet the best guy in the world, but I am leaving the best family in the world + the best dog in the world. Little Russell. (A whole 10 minute conversation tonight revolved around how russel is the best dog in the world)
Tonight I was wishing London & Sydney were only a 1 hour flight away but still the exact same in culture.
Although, the fact that London & Sydney are so far away, makes my last night in either city that much more special.
And tonight was no exception.
I love my little family, we had such an amazing night.
I will miss them so incredibly much.
