Living down in the snow always seems to go way too fast. We have had more than a month here but it has already been unforgettable.
The snow has been record bad but it hasn't dampened our spirits.
This week was spent in Thredbo (we live in Jindabyne - 30 min drive from Thredbo) for the week staying with my parents, brother, cousin and George. As I injured my knee the end of last week, I wasn't able to go skiing with my dad but I was able to spend my days with my mum and George going for breakfast, long lunches and reading our books around the fire in the Lounge bar.
There is always an upside.
Plus, we had the most romantic snowfall on Wednesday.
Perfect timing as my knee is getting better and better with everyday.
Appropriate name for our house
My new ski boots fitting into my wardrobe quite nicely
George with his new snowboard
Chill sesh on the balcony
Our daily drive to work on the windy Alpine Way
Ligament strain and 10 days off the snow thanks to a big crash while skiing
Best pizza's in Jindabyne - Dad's first night at the snow for the season
An afternoon at Wildbrumby Distillery - the start to an amazing week with my parents and cousin in Thredbo
Our regular Apres ski at The Denman in Thredbo.
Long lunches (as the snow was pretty shocking) spent in cosy restaurants over a few bottles of wine
House mates lovely 21st party
And the snow finally fell.
